Cats are pregnant for 63-68 days (about 9 weeks). If the cat is pregnant longer then the 9 weeks, then she could be in trouble and need and expensive c-section. More then likely they are dead and this could cause more problems with the mother - she could be "poisoned" from the dead kittens inside and die herself.

Up to you if you want to try and save her, but she needs medical treatment now - or you will have to put her to sleep if you cannot afford the expenses.

According to cats.about.com, a cat's gestation period is 60-67 days which works out to be about 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 weeks. Another site said that even 70 days has been documented. I am guessing that she wasn't as far along as the the vet guessed when you brought her home. From your description, I would say that she will be having her babies very soon. At this stage, you should be able to feel and see the kittens moving inside her when she is laying on her side. She sounds like a lovely kitty and I hope that you can find a good home for her and her kittens. Bless you and your husband for taking her in.

If she lies down and you see nudges in her stomach she is close to having kittens. Cats are pregnant for 9 weeks mostly

Take her to the vet. If it's not time yet, you may not have to spend money yet for x-rays. But if otherwise, and if something are wrong with the babies, this momma cat can die with stillborns in her womb.

It is sad that soooooooooooooooo many animals are dumped because of no reason. With your actual question, i'm pretty sure you should just take her to the vet. I really don't know the answer but find it very sad for all the animals that have no homes. Well soz for not answering but wanting to give an opinion. :)

People that have normal periods don't ovulate until 14 days after the 1st day of their periods (so if it started on the 1st they would ovulate on the 14th) but since your period is irregular it is very hard to say when you ovulate. The chances of you getting pregnant right after your period is very slim. I would just have sex every day ta make sure that's what I did and it took us two months. Due in July.
Good Luck!!!!

You might want to get your cycle examined by a doctor, you could be suffering from PCOS, or just plain not ovulating.

The chances of you being pregnant right now are very slim I am sorry to say.

He can talk to the doctor about certain "Super Sperm" foods (diet that MAY help liven up his swimmers)

You need to try and work out when you are ovulating, as this is the only time in your cycle that you can get pregnant. You can buy ovulation prediction kits that you wee on and can detect when your ovulating. Having sex close to when your period ended would be pointless because you wouldnt be ovulating so you couldnt get pregnant.
